Query Health Pilot - FDA Mini-Sentinel

The Mini-Sentinel Operations Center (MSOC), on behalf of the Mini-Sentinel project team, proposed to 1) use existing Mini-Sentinel infrastructure to execute a series of queries as a worked example of the implementation and operation of an active distributed health data network, 2) adopt and implement Query Health Query Envelope standards, 3) implement a prototype of PopMedNet Version 3.0, and 4) work with at least one clinical data partner (TBD) that has an existing i2b2 installation to pilot end-to-end querying using the i2b2 HQMF adapter. These activities were intended to serve as a platform to communicate the lessons learned regarding the governance, design, and implementation of a distributed health data querying network that is consistent with the Query Health architecture, and investigate barriers and opportunities related to adopting new Query Health standards within an existing network.
