UPDATE
Given new evidence on the B.1.617.2 (Delta) variant, CDC has updated the guidance for fully vaccinated people. CDC recommends universal indoor masking for all teachers, staff, students, and visitors to K-12 schools, regardless of vaccination status. Children should return to full-time in-person learning in the fall with layered prevention strategies in place.
UPDATE
The White House announced that vaccines will be required for international travelers coming into the United States, with an effective date of November 8, 2021. For purposes of entry into the United States, vaccines accepted will include FDA approved or authorized and WHO Emergency Use Listing vaccines. More information is available here.

The National Forum on COVID-19 Vaccine, a 3-day virtual event, highlighted vaccination efforts at all levels of government, across non-governmental organizations and at the individual level. The Forum brought together COVID-19 vaccine practitioners and champions from across the country to exchange information. This video shares success stories, reinforces key messages, and emphasizes that everyone has a role in supporting our nation’s COVID-19 vaccination efforts.

Federal leadership panel on COVID-19 vaccination featuring Leaders from agencies across the federal government, including the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institutes of Health (NIH),Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Speakers highlight the federal governments progress to address effective, equitable vaccine implementation to open the National Forum on COVID-19 Vaccine. This Plenary showcased national leaders’ “all hands-on deck” plan to operationalize the National Response Strategy to ensure vaccines get to people as quickly as possible, while ensuring equitable access. Highlighting federal speakers from the US COVID-19 Health Equity Task Force, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and CDC’s Vaccine Taskforce.

National Forum on COVID-19 Vaccine Workshop: Outreach to refugees, immigrants, and migrants about COVID-19 Vaccine

Efficient and equitable access to COVID19 vaccine requires a coordinated effort across multiple partners and programs. This workshop focused on building bridges among health departments, immunization programs, clinicians, and organizations serving refugees, immigrants and migrants, including farmworkers. Four field experts shared promising practices, concrete examples of partner coordination, and resources. Presentations were followed by a question and answer session.
