ONC Interoperability Proving Ground (IPG) – Terms of Use

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) Interoperability Proving Ground (IPG) is an open, community-based source where individuals and organizations can go to share, learn, and be inspired by the many interoperability projects occurring across the country.

The IPG is designed to enable stakeholders to share and learn about the interoperability projects their colleagues are working on across the nation. As a general matter, we recommend the following:

  1. For an IPG project entry, the project lead (individual or organization) should be the one to enter the project.
  2. We recommend that IPG entries be focused on interoperability projects that will ultimately generate results and learning opportunities that can be shared with others in the health IT community.
  3. Do not use foul language or include advertisements/product placements that do not convey or communicate a specific interoperability project taking place. ONC periodically monitors IPG entries and will contact an entry owner in the event an entry appears inappropriate.

If you have questions or need additional guidance, please contact ONC.techlab@hhs.gov.
