Planning International Travel?

CDC recently released updated recommendations for international travel during COVID-19. Get vaccinated for COVID-19 at least 2 weeks before your trip. All travelers should continue to follow CDC’s recommendations for traveling safely and get tested 3-5 days after international travel.

Fully vaccinated travelers don’t need to get tested before leaving the United States, unless their destination requires it, and don’t need to self-quarantine after arriving to the United States. All travelers should continue to wear a mask, stay 6 feet from others and avoid crowds, wash their hands often, and follow state, local, and international recommendations and requirements for their destination and along their route.

Before you fly to the United States, get tested. All air passengers coming to the United States, including U.S. citizens and fully vaccinated peopleare required to show a negative COVID-19 test result no more than 3 days before travel or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 in the past 3 months before they board a flight to the United States.
