Budget Apportionment Allotment Allowance & Database System

Overview

The Budget Apportionment Allotment Allowance Data System is required to upload approved Executive Office of Management and Budget apportionment's into the Financial Accounting Control System. All agency funding moves through BAAADS to FACS. Funding cannot be utilized for any purpose until an allotment/allowance is issued that authorizes an approved amount. The end result of this process ensures that the Agency does not violate the Anti-Deficiency Act by spending more funding than has been authorized.
