Linda Sigg, Acting Director, Office of Information Systems Management

Linda Sigg

Linda Sigg serves as acting director of the Office of Information Systems Management (OISM) in the FDA’s Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA). She leads ORA-wide IT activities to optimize systems and data for operational work and decision-making in support of public health.

Ms. Sigg has more than 30 years of IT experience at the FDA, including all three medical product areas: devices, drugs, and biologics. Throughout her career, she has actively engaged managers and employees in strategic program planning and execution, business process transformation, and solution innovation. 

Previously, Ms. Sigg served as associate director of informatics in the FDA’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health, director of the Division of Business Management Services and Solutions in the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, and IT specialist in the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research. 

Ms. Sigg received a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Saint Francis College in Pennsylvania and earned a master’s degree in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University in Maryland.
