FDA's Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) oversees the implementation of the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act. CTP’s responsibilities under the law include setting performance standards, reviewing premarket applications for new and modified risk tobacco products, requiring new warning labels, and establishing and enforcing advertising and promotion restrictions. CTP is also involved in public education campaigns about tobacco and works to prevent youth access to tobacco products.

Each FDA-TRACK program area collects, analyzes, and reports its performance measures and results. Explore the progress CTP is making towards its strategic priorities below.
