Biography

Dr. Linge (Emily) Li is a Research Chemist with the Division of Applied Veterinary Research in the Office of Research at FDA’s Center for Veterinary Medicine.  She received her Ph.D in Analytical Chemistry from Loyola University Chicago. She joined FDA as a Research Chemist in 2017 after working at Contract Research Organizations for 12 years. Her primary responsibilities at CVM include conducting and coordinating research in bioanalytical method development and validation using liquid chromatography and tandem mass spectrometry for veterinary drug pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, metabolism and disposition in food-producing and companion animals.

Research

  1. Development of regulatory bioanalytical methods in support of PK/PD/ADME/BE studies;
  2. Qualitative and quantitative veterinary drug analysis using LC-MS/MS technologies;
  3. Target and un-target veterinary drug identification and characterization using high resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS).
