Background:

The FDA INFORMED Program and PDS have expressed a willingness to leverage their combined strengths for the joint development of a symposium. This FDA-PDS Symposium will bring together leaders in data science, oncology treatment and research & development from academia, government, and industry to address accelerating cancer research through responsible sharing of data and advanced analytics.

Goals and Objectives

  • To provide a forum for open discussion between leaders in data science, oncology treatment and research & development from academic, government, and industry.
  • To identify use cases for leveraging data sharing platforms to to help accelerate cancer research through new applications of patient-level "big data" and advanced analytics, including those based on artificial intelligence and machine learning methods.

Who Should Attend

Senior data scientists, oncology researchers, clinicians, and executives from academia, government, and industry.
