Communications & Outreach

The Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA) uses various modes of communication to reach regulatory officials and federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial government agencies.  Below are some of the avenues that ORA uses to collaborate with regulatory partners.

Commissioning
Information on how an officer or employee of a state, territorial, or political subdivision thereof can become commissioned as an officer of the Department of Health and Human Services.

Information Sharing Agreements
Information about the sharing of non-public information with state and local government officials per CFR 21. Commonly referred to as “20.88” agreements.
