About the Center for Tobacco Products (CTP)

FDA's Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) regulates the manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of tobacco products. CTP's mission is to make tobacco-related death and disease part of America's past, not America's future, and, by doing so, ensure a healthier life for every family.

What We Do

Read about CTP's key areas of focus and how we protect America's youth, provide information to help educate consumers, ensure industry complies with the law, review products, and conduct leading cutting-edge tobacco and nicotine-related research.
