Hello-

My name is Lisa Portale and I work at MiniMed Inc., Northridge CA.

Back in 1994, MiniMed submitted a petition for an Essential Use Exemption
for Freon under Section 601(8) of the Clean Air Act.  On July 18, 1994, the
Agency send an acknowledgement letter that included the assigned Docket No.
94P-0268/CP 1.

Since that time, many colleagues have come and gone at MiniMed and I am
unable to locate any documentation detailing the final decision was on this
request.   I have searched the FDA website, however, the databases do not
contain documents prior to 1995.

If you would provide any available information on the above docket number,
it would be greatly appreciated.
