Each year, FDA gives high school, college, and graduate students from different backgrounds and scientific disciplines the opportunity to train with mentors from across FDA on regulatory science research projects. Students are exposed to the broad expanse of regulatory science activities underway across the Agency as well as the range of scientific disciplines they call on.
Students also learn first-hand about the Agency’s domestic and global impact. After completing their FDA training, students are encouraged to explore careers in public health and STEM.
This website highlights the importance of FDA student programs and the direct impact that their research projects have on advancing regulatory science at FDA.
