Unproven Infertility Supplements

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued five warning letters to companies illegally selling dietary supplements that claim to cure, treat, mitigate, or prevent infertility and other reproductive health conditions. These products, which are often sold online, have not been reviewed by the FDA and are not proven safe and effective to treat the diseases and health conditions they claim to treat. These products may be ineffective, unsafe and could prevent a person from seeking an appropriate diagnosis and treatment from a health care professional.
