General Information 


Vaccines, Biologics, Human Tissues, and Blood Products

A: If it has been at least 4 months since your first booster dose of any authorized or approved COVID-19 vaccine and you are an individual 50 years of age or older or an individual 12 years of age or older with certain kinds of immunocompromise, you may receive a second COVID-19 vaccine booster dose. If you are eligible to receive a second COVID-19 vaccine booster dose and you are 18 years of age or older, then you may receive your second booster dose with any of the following vaccines: 

  • Comirnaty (COVID-19 Vaccine, mRNA)
  • Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine
  • Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine
  • Spikevax (COVID-19 Vaccine, mRNA)

If you are eligible to receive a second COVID-19 vaccine booster dose and you are 12 through 17 years of age, then you may receive your second booster dose with any of the following vaccines:

  • Comirnaty (COVID-19 Vaccine, mRNA)
  • Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine
