Radionuclides in Domestic and Imported Foods
The purpose of the following CPG is to present guidance levels for radionuclide activity concentration, called derived intervention levels (DILs), which FDA has adopted to help determine whether domestic food in interstate commerce or food offered for import into the United Statespresents a safety concern. The purpose of the supporting document is to present information that explains the basis for guidance levels in the CPG, and to explain how these guidance levels differ from guidance levels established in 1986, which have been superceded.
