In 2017, the Health Care Inspectorate (IGZ) and the Youth Care Inspectorate (IJZ) merged to form the Health and Youth Care Inspectorate (IGJ). IGJ is the legal successor of IGZ with the role of supervising healthcare and youth care services in the Netherlands and the international market for medicines and medical devices. The Health and Youth Care Inspectorate is bound by the commitments made by IGZ to protect FDA-provided non-public information in the 2006 Confidentiality Commitment Statement of Legal Authority and Commitment between FDA and the former IGZ and will continue to protect any non-public information previously shared under the 2006 Confidentiality Commitment Statement of Legal Authority and Commitment with IGZ.
