The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) hosted a stakeholder call with the animal food industry on Tuesday, March 31 at 3:00 p.m. EDT to discuss animal food safety and food supply questions related to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). FDA provided an overview of current activities, responded to identified stakeholder concerns, and highlighted FDA resources in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Remarks were provided by leadership in FDA’s Center for Veterinary Medicine, including Dr. Steven M. Solomon, Dr. Tim Schell, and Jenny Murphy, and Michael Rogers from FDA’s Office of Regulatory Affairs.
