Alignment with Enterprise Architecture: The FDA Enterprise IT Acquisition Strategy prioritizes solutions that seamlessly integrate with existing systems and adhere to established architecture standards. This ensures a cohesive IT infrastructure that supports the agency's overall mission.

Robust IT Vendor Management: The FDA highly values establishing strong, reliable partnerships with IT vendors. Our strategy includes a robust vendor management program characterized by proactive communication, performance monitoring, and clear expectations for ongoing support and service.

The FDA Enterprise IT Acquisition Strategy is critical to the agency’s more extensive digital transformation journey. It works in tandem with the FDA IT Strategy and IT Operating Plan to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to IT management.
