Staff Fellowship Program

Staff fellows encourage and promote research and regulatory review, studies, and investigations related to health and medical devices. Related health areas include medical, physical, biological, mathematical, social (economic and others), biometric, epidemiological, behavioral, and computer sciences directly related to the mission of the FDA. Depending on the amount and quality of experience possessed by a candidate, they may be hired as a Staff Fellow or a Senior Staff Fellow.

Visiting Scientist Programs

The FDA’s Visiting Scientist Program provides opportunities for distinguished foreign scientists at all levels of their careers to work on problems of mutual interest. There are two categories of FDA’s Visiting Scientist Program participants:

ORISE is the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE). The ORISE Research Participation Programs at FDA accept applications year-round for participation in non-employment training opportunities with various levels of stipend support. Current students, recent graduates, and faculty researchers are eligible for this program. Find current ORISE opportunities at the FDA.
