Recalls of Foods & Dietary Supplements
Food producers recall their products from the marketplace when the products are mislabeled or when the food may present a health hazard to consumers because the food is contaminated or has caused a foodborne illness outbreak.
This page provides links to the most recently posted food recalls.
Recalls, Market Withdrawals & Safety Alerts makes available all recent recall information by product area, including food, drugs, biological products, devices, and cosmetics. Note: Dietary supplement recalls are found under the "Drugs" tab of the "Recently Posted Recalls" table. You can also subscribe to the FDA Food Safety Recalls RSS Feed and Food Allergies RSS Feed.
FoodSafety.gov provides food safety and food recall information from both FDA and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), which regulates most meat and poultry.
Outbreak Investigations are conducted by FDA’s Coordinated Outbreak Response and Evaluation (CORE) Network. CORE manages outbreak response, surveillance and post-response activities related to incidents involving multiple illnesses linked to FDA-regulated human food, dietary supplements, and cosmetic products.
