In May 2022, the Department of Health had an organization name change to the Department of Health and Aged Care. The legal role, functions and responsibilities of DHA remain the same under the Department of Health and Aged Care. The Department of Health and Aged Care commits to implementing the 2012 Confidentiality Commitment Statement of Legal Authority and Commitment between FDA and the former DHA as written, and will continue to protect FDA-provided non-public information provided previously or in the future under the 2012 Confidentiality Commitment Statement of Legal Authority and Commitment.
