OMHHE’s Enhance Equity Initiative Funding Opportunities enables OMHHE to advance minority health and health equity focused regulatory science research by engaging across a broad range of stakeholders, including academia, minority-serving institutions, government agencies, and non-profit organizations.

As part of OMHHE’s Enhance EQUITY Initiative, OMHHE is announcing a new funding opportunity:
The purpose of this funding opportunity announcement (FOA) is to support innovative research that will strengthen and advance health outcomes for diverse communities.
FDA OMHHE intends to fund up to $1,000,000 for fiscal year 2024 in support of this cooperative agreement program. It is anticipated that up to four (4) awards will be made, not to exceed $250,000 in total costs (direct and indirect). Award(s) will provide one (1) year of support. Letters of Intent are due January 18, 2024. Applications are due February 29, 2024, by 5:00 PM Eastern Time.
We will host a technical session on February 1, 2024, from 1 PM - 2 PM EST for the Health Equity Innovation Award Funding Opportunity. The technical session will be hosted on Zoom.
