The Access to Culturally Responsive Care Task Force needs your input on Spokane County’s community health improvement plan!

A community health improvement plan, or CHIP, is a strategy that a community develops to describe how it will address public health problems. CHIP development typically follows an assessment of a community’s health needs.

The Spokane community identified access to culturally responsive care as a top priority during the 2021-2022 Community Health Needs Assessment. Priority Spokane and the Spokane Regional Health District Data Center convened partners to profile the issue, describing key background information and introducing potential solutions.

Community members and partners interested in concerns related to access to culturally responsive care are invited to join the Access to Culturally Responsive Care Task Force’s CHIP Community Engagement Information Session. Addressing access to culturally responsive care is one component of Spokane County’s three-part CHIP.

Attendees will have an opportunity to engage with the task force and learn how their contributions can help shape the CHIP process for Spokane County.

This virtual event will be hosted on Zoom. (See Zoom link below.)

Presenters:

  • Callie Morris, Access to Care Coordinator, SRHD Healthy Living
